This event is associated with a keynote lecture by MontBlanc Pictures.
You will board a mobile visual attraction car (see "Program page") parked next to the venue and enjoy a time machine attraction that stimulates your all five senses
with “3D stereoscopic images”, “360-degree surround sound” and “seat vibration” 
in the world of the animated film “After School Midnighters”.

“A short introduction to Kitakyushu to enjoy bus hiking in Kitakyushu” by Susumu Kasamatsu (12:40–12:55)

Bus Hiking

This is a “cool” and exciting course that cannot be visited in a short time by individuals.

• Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History and Human History
• Kanmon Tunnel (Kanmon Tunnel pedestrian road - the only strait in the world where you can cross to the other side on foot)
• Kanmon Strait Museum
• Former Moji Mitsui Club (After-hours Special Visits)
• Sunset at Mojiko (port) or Night viewing at Mt. Sarakura *Optional choice

Points of the Course

Kitakyushu City has been selected as one of the best cities with the Most Spectacular Night Views in Japan. The main night view spots are Mt. Sarakura, Mojiko Retro district, and Kokura castle area.
This excursion offers the following choices. The sunset time is around 19:30. For all courses, a bus will take you back to Kokura Station via Kokura Castle on the return trip. It is possible to leave the bus at Kokura Castle.

1. Spend the evening at Mojiko port, take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the evening and night views of the straits (bus departs around 20:30).
2. View the night view from Mt. Sarakura
3. Get off at Kokura and watch Kokura Castle illuminated after dinner. (until 22:00) (10-minute walk from Kokura downtown to the castle)

An information desk will be open from August 5 to 8 at the venue.
You may consult with the information desk about your choice of the choice of sunset or night viewing at Mt. Sarakura or Mojiko port, as well as more activities during your stay.

Conference Dinner

Meeting Point: ART HOTEL Kokura New Tagawa

The Japanese garden at the hotel is a Shoin-style garden that features a path around a pond, created in the mid of Meiji era. This is a famous Japanese garden ranked the 35th in the "2021 Japanese Garden Ranking conducted by “Sukiya Living Magazine/Journal of Japanese Gardening”, an American magazine specializing in Japanese gardens, which surveyed approximately 1,000 Japanese gardens in Japan.
